Recent Progress and Achievements in Kuikai Company’s Carbon Dioxide Projects

  Carbon dioxide reduction is one of the hottest topics across all sectors today. Individuals, businesses, and society as a whole are striving to conserve energy, reduce emissions, promote a low-carbon economy, foster economic development, and build a harmonious society. As is well known, the recycling and reuse of carbon dioxide are of great significance for achieving energy recycling and protecting the environment. As a domestic company specializing in the supply of food-grade carbon dioxide production technology and complete sets of equipment that comply with international quality standards (ISBT), the new national standard (GB10621-2006), and the standards of companies such as Coca-Cola and PepsiCo, our company has made significant efforts in this regard and achieved encouraging results.


  Our company has accumulated engineering experience from over 80 CO₂ projects both domestically and internationally, including projects for Sinopec, CNOOC, Huaneng Group, Henan Xinlianxin Group, Shandong Yankuang, Shanxi Jinmei Group, Yangquan Coal Group, Ningbo Wanshun, and Vietnam’s Songlin, with design capacities ranging from 3,000 tons per year to 300,000 tons per year.


  As the carbon dioxide projects we have undertaken continue to operate successfully and our engineering experience continues to accumulate, we are increasingly utilizing proprietary new technologies in our engineering designs. The CO₂ produced by our company’s designed facilities is of high quality. Furthermore, the facilities are entirely domestically manufactured, achieving “low investment and high output” with simple operation. As a result, we have gained a certain level of recognition and an excellent reputation both domestically and internationally, receiving support from users across all sectors of society. Since early 2011, our company has undertaken 18 CO₂ projects, including the Jinmei Jinlongyuan 50 kt/a, Anhui Haoyuan 50,000 t/y, Shandong Yankuang 100,000 t/y, Guizhou Kaifeng 50,000 t/y, Vietnam Songlin 40,000 t/y, Guangxi Hechi 60,000 t/y, Hebei Kaiyue 100,000 t/y, Hebei Dongguang 50,000 t/y, Anhui Huatai 50 kt/a, Hangzhou Oxygen Xiaoshan 200 kt/a, Jilin Hangzhou Oxygen Bodai 100 kt/a, Hebei Jiheng 30 kt/a, Jingshan Huabei Chemical 20 kt/a, Xuzhou Huawei Chemical 20 kt/a, Jingmen Xinxing Energy 40 kt/a, CNOOC Shandong Haihua Hualong Ammonium Nitrate 70 kt/a, Jizhou Yinhai 50 kt/a, Beijing University of Chemical Technology skid-mounted CO₂ demonstration unit, CNOOC Lishui 36-1 natural gas purification and CO₂ utilization 250 kt/a, etc. Currently, the CO₂ demonstration units at Anhui Haoyuan, Anhui Jinmei Jinlongyuan, Shandong Yankuang, Vietnam Songlin, and others have been successfully commissioned; while multiple CO₂ projects, including Guizhou Kaifeng, Guangxi Hechi, Anhui Huatai, and Hebei Kaiyue, are in the installation and commissioning phase; projects such as Jilin Hangyang Bodai, Jingshan Huabei Chemical, Xuzhou Huawei Chemical, Jingmen Xinxing, and Shandong Haihua Hualong Ammonium Nitrate are in the intensive engineering design phase. Among these, the Beijing University of Chemical Technology CO₂ demonstration plant is a key project supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology under the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” for CO₂ emission reduction, while the CNOOC Lishui 36-1 natural gas purification and CO₂ utilization project and the Hangyang Xiaoshan large-scale CO₂ plant are currently among the largest single-unit CO₂ emission reduction and recovery facilities in China.


  Currently, many domestic and international clients interested in CO₂ production are visiting our company for exchanges, negotiations, and collaboration.
